A fast growing Garment manufacturing factory in Semarang is looking
for candidate to be positioned as:


Recruitment & Training Supervisor Post Date: 20 May 09

PURPOSE OF JOB

Reporting to HR & GA Manager, the candidate will be expected to assume
a leadership role within the human resources function in recruitment &
training supporting the factory production. The person must have
practical experience in handling recruitment & selection process and
establish also deliver training program. The additional ability to
handle, review, lead and motivate the team as a whole is critical to
the success of this position.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Recruitment & Selection:

* Ensure the right people for the positions are recruited
* Ensure the effectiveness of recruitment method, media and process
* Ensure good relationship with outsource company and local community

Training:

* Ensure that employees communications are in-place
* Ensure training plan is established and develop employee to
achieve target.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

Recruitment and Selection

* Coordinate with local labor sourcing (LPK) to get competent workers
* Maintain and develop relationship with other factories
* Manage sourcing process – coordinate with local community to
introduce the company and work with local school to provide on the job
training opportunity
* Conduct selection process – conduct initial screening,
interviewing, personality test and technical test
* Conduct programs New Employee Orientation
* Ensure detail and comprehensive probation and contract renewal evaluation

Training

* Develop Training Matrix to ensure employee development on
Company Culture, Competencies and Leadership
* Deliver training program
* Establish communication between the employee and the management
* Establish effective reward and recognition program for best employee
* Establish Competency Profile and the development program along
with the assessment for each level

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

* Bachelor degree in Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or
Human Resources Management from reputable university
* 3-5 years HR in the business experience, which ideally from
garment industry
* HR Specialist experience working within garment factory
* Strong people and communications skills; possess the ability to
report and communicate at all levels within the organization
* Essential would be a background in recruitment and Selection,
with a proven track record in handling recruitment and assessment;
Training with establish and deliver training program competency based
* A high level of initiative is essential, along with the ability
to manage a team and coordinate internally during an HR development/
implementation initiative
* Able to deliver training program as a Trainer
* Strong attention to detail and ability to see talent
